This amazing sunset is at Leadbetter point in Santa Barbara. Leadbetter is a local surf spot frequented mostly by kids learning to surf, and locals trying to get in a few rides without having to go very far. The surf is not usually very big; 1' - 3', but it peels nicely around this point. It can get nice and big with a good swell, but even then it breaks gently. You have to watch out for the rock shelves that are right under the water and not very deep. Leadbetter is where I learned to surf when I was 15.
